They used to use the syrup tanks everywhere that had fountain coke products. They started switching to the nasty arse bags around the early 1990s.

People always say this but Coke doesn’t taste better at McDonald’s, at least in the south. I say at least in the south because maybe it has something to do with the quality of worker compared to everywhere else. McDonald’s coke is too much syrup and not enough carbonation, flat.

This is not true. I worked at Coca Cola in their warehouse. We gave McDonalds the same shite we gave everyone else.

I researched this awhile back because I always thought it tasted better from McDonalds. If I remember correctly, the reasoning was the water system McDonalds uses to mix with the syrup that causes it to have a better taste.

At the end of the tour at Coca Cola thing in Atlanta, you get to try coke products from around the World. I had some coke product from Djibouti.

I always though that they pumped more CO2 into it. McD's does in fact have the best Cokes ever
