Looking for all-terrain tire recommendations. I drive a lot (around 50k miles/year), but I also use my off road pretty often, so I’m looking for something that actually pulls well in the mud, but isn’t loud as all hell on the road. I am leaning towards the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT’s (previously had the MT Baja MTZs and loved them, but drive too much now for those). I also like the Toyo AT/3‘s, but I’m open to other options. Going on a 2024 tundra with 2 inch level kit. Size 285 65R20. Any insight is appreciated.

My tundra has BF Goodrich KO2. Have about 50k on them with plenty of tread left for another 30-40k miles.

My son has Nitto Ridge Graplers on his truck and he loves them.

I really liked the set of Toyo RT Trails I had. Probably going to get another set in the next month or so.

I had some BFG KO2s in that same size. Put 75K miles on them. I have an F150. Probably could have put some more, but tires were hard to come by in covid. A set of 295/60R20 too open country AT3s came in so I got those and sold the BFGs for $200. I have about 62K miles in the AT3s

Have 61k on my KO2's right now, priced out some KO3's to replace them. I'm gonna put some more miles on the ones I have before I do that.

I've had good luck with toyo at2 on my old 1/2 ton. Cooper at3 did well on my duramax but went with falken rt late last year and no complaints

Toyo RT’s have served me well. I will be on my 4th set shortly and have no reason to change. They ride quiet, wear good if you rotate them and have plenty traction for when I’m in the woods.

I have some Toyo RT. Love them. I wanted something between the AT and MT. It was between those and some Nittos.

Another vote for nitto ridge grapplers. Prettymuch silent on the interstate but I take them off road into clay mud and they pull great.

Toyo R/T

I really liked these but I haven’t been able to find them in a 285 65R20. I’ve been told that Toyo doesn’t make that particular tire in that size. Not sure if that’s true though.

Mannn… I’m going to throw out a budget option that nobody talks about Falken Rubitrek. They have been great for me and have performed well. I’ve run the usual suspects that will cost you an arm and a leg but I gotta say, the Falkens have impressed me.

I went with a 295/55R20. Which is basically 33’s. Had to be careful because the damn front wheel wells are tight on the GMC’s.

Same truck and I’m running the Toyo AT3’s. I’m impressed with them.
