Radunz was drafted by the Tennessee Titans in the second round, 53rd overall, in the 2021 NFL draft.[13] On May 13, Radunz signed his four-year rookie contract with Tennessee.[14] He made his first career start at left tackle in Week 16 in place of an injured Taylor Lewan. He appeared in 12 games during the 2021 season.[15]
Radunz entered the 2022 season as a backup guard behind Aaron Brewer and Nate Davis. He appeared in 11 games at both guard spots due to injuries, and made four total starts.[16] He was placed on injured reserve with a torn ACL on December 22, 2022.[17]
Radunz played 16 games with 11 starts for the 2023 season.[18]
Coming into the 2024 season, Radunz was named the starting right guard. He left the Week 1 matchup early, against the Chicago Bears, with a bruised rib. Through his first six games, Radunz allowed one sack, and committed two penalties.[19] Radunz finished the season with 15 starts, missing two games due to injury

Is he any good? He was drafted in round 2 in 2021, but his name doesn't ring a bell

He has Penning esque grades per PFF

So barely passable, if we consider their grades fairly accurate.
That's better than the gapping hole there, or Will Clapp filling that spot.

Fine for a backup
Eventually we have invest in serious players on the OL.

The funny thing is this is exactly what the Eagles were doing when they signed Zach Baun.
The coach said point blank they signed Zach to play special teams and thought he could be a good back up and maybe challenge for a regular role.
Only after the got him on the field they realized what they had.
Not saying this guy is the end all to be all but he’s got starter talent but has been forced to play both tackle positions and both guard positions in his time in Tennessee because of various reasons. Tackle is his position and those reps are what makes his numbers look underwhelming.

Another good target.. early round pedigree who hasn't played up to potential yet.
Get him cheap and hope you can get a light to turn on

There a reason he’s still available. 2nd round bust. Will Clapp was signed before Radunz to give some perspective.

Baun also played behind a highly disruptive D-line. The Eagles also usually played from in front.
I get it. Baun still had to make the plays he did to transform his career, but fact is he thrived on a much more talented roster.
I don't think he got a fair shake in New Orleans. The Saints usually defer to the higher drafted pick.
example Davenport > Hendrickson
and in Baun's case
Werner> Baun
why in the hell did they extend Werner during training camp? Why not let his play on the field do the talking?
If I'm missing something hit me with it.
But it's frustrating.

No, you're right. The eagles are great about bringing in players with a pedigree on cheap deals. Any smart team should do this. The saints rarely do.
Just like them passing on better players in tje draft for not exactly fitting their physical parameters. That is how you draft Payton turners over better players.

I definitely was
Not taking anything away from Baun but the Saints coaches don’t know how to unlock what they had and the Eagles coaches don’t realize what they were getting BUT they figured out what the Saints coaches couldn’t and Baun became what he I’m sure always knew he could be.
There’s many stories like this in the NFL. The Saints could do the same with Radunz. Just because he hasn’t hit his potential doesn’t mean he can’t.

Baun played 660 snaps in 4 years here. He played 940 alone in Philly last year. He never had a chance to prove what he can do. This Radunz guy has. Just calling it like it is. it’s ok to be a borderline starter/backup lineman. Those guys play 10 years in the league and make a nice living.
He could get better, sure. Would be nice if all of our minimum type guys become all pros

Can play multiple positions. That's a plus when lineman start getting dinged up.

He gave up a lot of pressures and sacks.
