Franklinton Woman Arrested for the Murder of Her 8 Month Old Baby

I just don't understand how any human can do such a thing. It's monstrous.

FRANKLINTON, La. (WVUE) - Franklinton police say they have arrested a mother accused of beating her 8-month-old child to death.
Autumn Hano Harper, 24, was booked into the Washington Parish Jail in the early hours of Wednesday (March 19) morning for one count of first-degree murder.
The boy’s father identified the victim as Sterling Rogers.
Police say they were called into Riverside Medical Center in Franklinton a week ago regarding an 8-month-old child who had suffered severe injuries, including multiple healing bones and broken bones.
The boy was transferred to Children’s Hospital by air where he later died as the result of their injuries on Monday, March 17.
Detectives say that after interviewing witnesses during an extensive investigation they identified the mother as the suspect.
Harper is currently being held without bond.

According to her Facebook page, she was married to a Harper who passed away in December 2022.
She also has pictures of the child posted on her FB page. On February 20th, she posted that she's "never been happier".
Something is off here.
ETA: "During the interview process, detectives say Harper gave a “voluntary inculpatory statement” allegedly implicating that she committed the crime."

Based on her FB it appears as though her husband, Mr. Harper, died in 2022.
