I don’t have a response to your stupid, argumentative reply but
ETA: that statement has absolutely nothing to do with this thread FWIW. I think that’s just an incredibly naive and clueless take in the big scheme of things

Also not much family to see on her fb. Something is off about this.
Not really, she’s a psycho nut and the people she lived and associated with are the type of people most would imagine them to be. The only thing off is that no one else has been charged as of now. I don’t believe for one second no one else didn’t know what was happening to that baby, or outright complicit in the crime. I did know her grandfather and her father, her father was killed in a tree cutting accident several years back.

This is the grandmother. She is a piece of work.

Yeah she ain't gonna fit in there in the bible thumping town of Franklinton.

Let's see what her history tells us as this investigation plays out.
Look at that baby's face. Murdered by the person he loved from birth. There is no greater offense to humanity than harming a child.

I missed this news report on WWL.

FRANKLINTON, La. — A Franklinton grandmother is grieving the loss of her 8-month-old grandson while her daughter is charged with his murder.
“The best baby ever,” The victim’s grandmother said. “He always had a smile on his face—the biggest, brightest blue eyes.
Just hours after police arrested Autumn Harper for allegedly killing her eight-month-old son, the twenty-four-year-old’s mother claims her daughter is innocent.
“Her whole life revolved around him. If the babysitter had him, she would call and check on him. If I had him, she would call and check on him,” Hano said.
Natasha Hano identified her late grandson as Sterling Rogers and describes losing him as unimaginable.
“Terrible, terrible. I’m lost and terrible,” Hano said.
Harper was booked into Washington Parish Jail on a first-degree murder charge Tuesday night, almost a week after Franklinton Police were called to Riverside Medical Center about an infant in distress.
“He was in the custody of a boyfriend at the time and experienced some sort of event which caused him to stop breathing,” Franklinton Police Chief Justin Brown said. “The boyfriend performed CPR on the child and rushed the child to the emergency room.”
Franklinton Police Chief Justin Brown says the infant was air-lifted to Children's Hospital in New Orleans, where he tragically died less than a week later.
“We were advised by medical staff that the child had significant injuries, including broken bones that were healing as well as current fractures and broken bones. The extent of those injuries goes head to toe. Broken legs, broken ribs, skull fractures,” Brown said.
After questioning Harper, Brown says she admitted to abusing the infant.
“She disclosed in that interview a history of physical abuse, most significantly taking place since January of this year, and we believe those injuries and the part she played in that ultimately led to her infant’s death,” Brown said.
Police say the investigation is ongoing, and additional arrests aren’t out of the question, but for now, they believe Harper acted alone."
Wow. Just wow.
Apparently, she had a new boyfriend who is the person who took the child to the hospital. Also, the cousin posted that this mother had been evading the father of the child and lying to him since January.
Makes you wonder if she got the new bf and didn't want the child any longer.
The mother posted in February on her Facebook page that she was the happiest she'd ever been. At the same time, she was abusing that child according to the news report which says she admitted to abusing the child since January. The plot thickens....and it's so dirty.

I see the grandmother never got rid of her married name even though she was the reason for the divorce and her ex husband (the grandfather) has been dead for about 5 years.

I know the ex-husband’s (grandfather) side of the family, not so much her on a personal level. IMO, this doesn’t happen if he were still alive. Too many come and go from where she was living for me to believe other people didn’t know what was happening. I live in Franklinton, in the same neighborhood where this took place.

Her mother acts like she saw the child or kept him frequently. She mentioned a sitter as well. Then, there's the current boyfriend. That's 3 people right there around when the mother admits the abuse has gone on since January. There's a lot missing in my mind and a lot that's not right.
