In 2013, Obama killed the space program at NASA. America was left to pay Russia 2 million per astronaut round trip to continue research and transport our people.

I don’t like Obama but this isn’t really true. He was one of the main drivers of moving the space program to commercial fixed price contracts. He took a big risk and was a huge driver behind spacex being able to compete with the cost plus government contractors. Probably the only thing he got right.

Maybe because NASA has already existed since 1957 to supposedly handle the "space" realm. And because in "Space Force" Trump created yet another branch of the military (USAF already exists to cover the wild blue yonder.)

I would have to verify specifics, but Obama's NASA toroedoed Constellation (which was W's Shuttle's successor). His Admin (Bolden) was the one who claimed Obama made Muslim outreach NASA's priority.
Finally, trying to give Obama credit for SpaceX's success is like giving Biden credit for DOGE.
