Is he calling a pitch 2 feet off the plate?
Posted on 3/16/25 at 4:03 pm to Tiger Ryno
Feels like a full count every batter. 0-2 and next 2 pitches are foot off the plate.

We need some kids to deliver a wipeout pitch. We get ahead in the count. but we don’t put the batter away.

People need to quit acting like Missouri is actually a good team. They're the worst in the SEC. It's not even questionable.

My main hope is the bullpen in 23 was bad most of the year until Omaha where they essentially won us the championship. Hoping these kids will come around. We’ll see against Texas next weekend

No one is acting this way. You’re punching at air saying this.

I'm like we're about to face teams with lineups much much better than this Mizz team .300 or not

And we’re going to sweep them with 2/3 games not being close. So we beat a bad team thoroughly like we were supposed to

Biggest thing I see is we’re not doing a good job of changing the eye level of the batter. Everything after two strikes is off the plate and not even remotely close enough for the batter to offer. Where’s the fast ball above the belt as a waste pitch?

The goal of all piches is to trick the batter into swinging at something the picher doesnt want them to hit. Throwing a confusing pich away from the plate to trick a batter into swinging is baseball 101. Ask greg madux how many piches he threw over the plate. He wanted to trick everyone into swinging at piches they couldnt hit. If it worked for the best picher ever i dont see why you guys are complaining about our pichers trying to do the same thing!

Yeskie is the o my thing holding this team back. Deserves to be fired more than CMM
Posted on 3/16/25 at 4:20 pm to TigerMac81
Well yeah, but let’s not act like their not still an SEC team and teams can improve throughout the season lol. Plus 2/3 games weren’t really close.

that is a great, until you have 17 BB+HBP over two games like LSU's pitchig staff has had the last two days
i dont think it is concerning but it is definitely something you must note.

Amazing you guys see how bad Yeskie is but Jay is clueless. I’ll still going with Jay.

Its FAFO. Up 0-2..throw non competitive pitches.... Now its 3-2....walk...walk...blooper.
Attack the zone with good stuff. You wouldn't be at lsu if you dont have top decile stuff.

Not all pitchers. Some pitchers hzve good enough stuff that they can dominate hitters. They can blow it by them and catch them looking for another pitch.
We have done top arns. Some of our guys have mlb potential. They need to trust their stuff and start challenging batters more.
