After announcing they are going back to beef tallow for fry oil, they are also replacing their "buttery blend" with real Wisconsin butter.

Now Wisconsin won’t need to fight that Canadian 250% tariff as more companies will need to follow

Good experiment. I imagine it will taste better. Burger and fries is still burger and fries though. We will remain fat.

That can't be bad. Butter and tallow, two delicious cooking accoutrements.

A 1/3 lb burger made from lean ground beef and fresh vegetables isn’t really bad for you.
Fries are bad for you though.

What do they use butter on?

Why the frick is this on political board?

I agree but at the same time it's not like people ate perfect when they were eating at home most of the time. I do think this is like a small part of a bigger issue.

This isn't an advertisement for Steak and Shake. This is a direct result of Trump's economic strategy and the impact of his appointment of RFK Jr, to HHS.
You don't see that?

Because Trump appointed an HHS secretary who wants to make America healthier, and so democrats are forced to fight against it, so now it's political.

Yeah, but when cooked in beef tallow, they’re worth it.

It’s the bun that’s the problem. The bun is the highly processed part of the equation.
That can be fixed and when they figure that out, they’ll have the perfect burger. It’ll be a lot more healthy as well. Fried potatoes are fried potatoes though.

People ate fries in the 80s.
The majority of people in the 80s were not fat fricks.
Fries cooked in beef tallow are fine as long as they are not the cornerstone of your diet.

The fries are still pre cooked in seed oils before the tallow.

Depends on calories. Too many calories for anyone (eating more than you can burn) is bad for you. If you disagree with this, you are an idiot and I don't know what to tell you.
