this is great for the American bourbon market. But this sucks for those who like scotch that comes out of England. You’re already paying an arm and a leg for it.

Not really a scotch guy but more of these small distillers have been doing single malt here in the us. I don’t know if it’s any good.
And scotch is whiskey from Scotland.
You could make something with the same flavor profile, it just wouldn’t be scotch because it wasn’t made in Scotland.

Scotch prices are ridiculous but Great Britain isn't in the EU so I don't think scotch would be affected.
