It was less than the forecast, but it did not drop.
ETA- the above is incorrect. It did in fact drop from 3% YoY in January to 2.8% YoY in February. Both headline and core were down .2% from January rates.
I made a comment this morning based on what I had seen for January from a quick search and it was incorrect. I’ve edited.

So when the report doesn't look good, it's a lagging indicator and it's Biden's fault. When it looks good, it's Trump's fault. Did I get that correct?
