Their oil imports would doom them, China is on a timer in any conflict they start given how dependent they are on oil imports. We gave too many HIMARS to Ukraine for our island defense strategy sadly. Would cost a lot of marines their lives.

But the reason China doesnt invade Taiwan and the other islands of our allies is we retained strategic ambiguity there. Which is what Uncle Joe got rid of when he gave Putin the greenlight to take Ukraine.

Our Asian allies are worth fighting with. Good people. Conservative, help our economy more than they take, and they do their share on defense.

I'm familiar with the quality of Chinese made goods. Their shite will break in a week.

They are significantly superior to our transatlantic "allies". Its also fitting "trans" is part of the term of our deal with them. I would back the ROC any day over any European country

Edit: Not many know, but Japan for instance spent hundreds of billions of their own dollars combatting China's Belt & Road initiative after the US asked them to do their part. How many of our European friends have invested hundreds of billions because the US asked them to?
