Will make a decision in May.

LINK

This is my personal opinion but I hope he doesn’t and it doesn’t really have to do with him. Alabama hasn’t had a competitive race for Governor since the 2010 GOP Primary and that isn’t healthy for the state. Ivey never had to work for the job and we need our next governor to lead as if there’s at least some accountability. If Tuberville runs, chances are nobody will run against him. It’ll be a coronation.

If you had told me that I would be a Tuberville fan a few years ago when he and his team were smoking cigars at midfield in Tiger Stadium I would have laughed you out of the room. I used to despise that dude.

He's probably tired of the hellhole known as Washington.

PS - I wonder if he knows that LSU is looking for a DL?

Id just hate to lose Tubbs as a Senator because hes one of the best ones. Id love to see the current secretary of state Wes Allen run for governor

I think he is more valuable in the senate but if he runs he will win easily.

Dumbest senator in the history of the Republic. Alabama can send a tree stump and auto upgrade.

Bama fans would happily vote for him for governor which was a near impossibility prior to his time as senator.

You mean he’s dumber than Hirono. And Pocahontas? Think before you post.

I'm a fan from what I've seen, but I don't know the MAGA

Make Auburn Great Again

approach will work.

1) Tubberville certainly isn't dumb. OTOH, you voted for Kama-lama-ding-dong. You obviously don't have a problem with stupid people in government.

2) Show us on the doll where the mean man touched you.

I believe he best serves the people of Alabama as a Senator where he is one of the few truly "MAGA" Senators in the Senate.

I'm not sure how he would fare as the top executive of my state, but he has already proven how he fares as the senior Senator of my state.

Kamala was a senator you voted for president. Her IQ is 81. That’s a fact.

Off topic, and I know many of you don't have any desire to quit sports fandom (and I get it, it's cool and that's your individual choices), but perspective of a lot of things clears up much more after renouncing allegiance to sports teams and reallocating the time and energy divested into fandom.

As a former Tiger fan, it's strange looking back in retrospect and comparing things to the present. I actually respected Nick Saban a lot more when I was a CFB fan than I do now, yet I respect Tuberville far more than when I was a CFB fan. Coach Oregon, I know, fell out of favor with many fans, but not with me. That was the magical 2019 season he gave us, that became my final season as a fan after LSU jumped all on the BLM/"Summer of Love" bandwagon and I had to just quit. But hot damn, what an incredible final season that ended up being for me.

Some things, I just can't let go of though. The Sooners will always suck and the Dallas Cowboys will always suck. And I will never not smile at the memory of the many times $aban threw his headset.

Well it would be nice if he actually lived here but I guess you can run Alabama from fricking Florida.

Hell we have an alcoholic lesbian for last two terms, so obviously bama can operate without a great governor.
