Just after 11 pm, an MCSO unit encountered a motorcycle southbound on I-45 at Woodlands Parkway in excess of 130mph. He attempted to stop it but the driver fled. He continued to the Spring Creek turn then back north on I-45 to The Woodlands, he entered the Waterway area, and attempted to enter some parking garages, After making the mall loop he went out of Lake Woodlands to I-45 north. Several units were behind him but he didn’t know as he sped away from the units a Harris County Sheriff’s Office aircraft was overhead viewing him and calling out his location. The motorcycle continued north on I-45 at one point hit a speed of 191mph. With the aircraft still overhead he thought he was getting away. That was until he came under the Shepherd Hill overpass almost in Walker County when the bike started to sputter and ran out of gas. Within minutes multiple units were on him. A Montgomery County Precinct 5 deputy working the task force was first to approach him and she put him in cuffs. His brand-new Kawasaki will now be seized. The driver identified as Dillen Ray Martin, 21, of 111 Forest Drive in Orange, Texas was transported to the Montgomery County Jail and charged with evading arrest with a vehicle. His bond was set at $20000. The genius not only ran from the police, and ran out of gas, he also provided them with great evidence from his helmet cam of the entire incident that he recorded. His bike will also be seized.
