McMahon essentially Took over a death penaltied program.

We self punished ourselves a death penalty by firing pear

McMahon was given a mound of manure to work with and unfortunately it has mostly stayed manure

You literally have 3 threads started on the first page on the same topic. Maybe take a rest and stick with one thread

Les Miles and Ed Orgeron both had significantly more success at this point in their LSU careers. And they were borderline retarded.

Les Miles was handed a finely tuned Ferrari. Ed O was handed a really nice BMW. Kelly was handed over a team devoid of defensive talent and 40 scholarship players. Do you realize that lsu played the first season under Kelly with under 75 scholarship players while everyone else had 85?

So, we should fire Kelly and hire Eli Drinkwitz?

Lsu isn't committed to the mens basketball program, plain and simple. Yeah I know, WW did this and did that , etc. I'd give MM another year to see, if he can turn it around. They did play hard last night, but LSU isn't good enough and doesn't have the horses to compete with the top teams in the conference. Until the university wants to take basketball seriously, the Tigers will be bottom dwellers. It's is what it is.

I keep hearing how great Jay is, pump the brakes and lets wait and see.
Lets see if he can win another of multiple championships here.
I hope we win 20 with him at the helm, but dont say hes a great coach. Great recruiter, yes. Good coach Yes.
Great coach? Not yet

This just about sums it up. He took over a shite show and hasn’t improved it much at all. It’s time to move on.
