So what’s the Democrats message for 2028?

What is your plan, Dems?
“We’re going to open the border back up”
“We’re going to give your taxpayer dollars back to NGOs”
“We’re going to cancel merit based hiring and bring back DEI”.
The country’s overwhelmingly in support of every action Trump is making. No taxpayer outside of leftists and bureaucrats are longing for the good old days of open borders, government waste, corruption, foreign wars, DEI, and apologizing for America’s success.
The Democrat party is dead.
“We’re going to open the border back up”
“We’re going to give your taxpayer dollars back to NGOs”
“We’re going to cancel merit based hiring and bring back DEI”.

If trump plays this right he will have center left democrats lined up to primary those seats that are always going to vote democrat. There are people out there that want to serve and don’t want in on the grift, just look out for what’s best for their constituents.

It will always confuse me why as a last ditch effort to save democracy and all of humanity from Hitler from taking power they busted out the big guns like men powerbombing women in sports, releasing violent criminals from jail, and trying to talk to children about removing their penises… oh well, guess I’ll never know.

This is why the strategy of the 70/30 and 80/20 issues works well.
The Dems focused all of their messaging on “Trump bad”… but Trump can’t run in 2028 and has decent approval ratings now.
So now they have to shift to policy and they keep supporting the 20-30% issues at the party level…makes them look completely out of touch.
Immigration
Trans in sports
Transitioning minors
Government wastefulness and better efficiency
Less involvement in foreign wars
Lowering taxes
keep pushing these
