This video is old, but yeah, that and hate speech laws are the reason I'm not too optimistic about Bondi.

This is a big step in the wrong direction. I understand what they are trying to accomplish here, but coming out and saying they are going to take guns is not the right way.

Hmmm. While i think we need to help mental ill an certainly not a good thing for them to have access to a weapon when they are having issues, not sure this is the right thing.

Not a fan. Red Flag laws are unconstitutional. Hate speech laws are unconstitutional.

She said after they're released local law enforcement will decide when/if they get their guns back. Majority of the time that answer will be no, never. Especially if they're nice guns that would look good in a cop's gun safe.

And they backed off back then after pushback.

That video is very old and there is no indication that this is anywhere on the radar.

Needs to be a hearing. Like when someone is judicially committed. Though a doctor can have someone institutionalized for a period of time with no hearing. What are the details of this plan?

I’m not sure how to handle guns and the mentally ill.

To me, it should be like my view on prison and felons. If you’re a felon but paid your debt to society and completed your sentence you should have rights restored. If you’re a danger to yourself or others you should stay in a mental institution. Once you’re released that means you’re ok, you should have all rights restored. No reason to take guns, just commit the individual until said person is mentally ok. Leave the guns in the persons house

So let's say I come shoot up your house for being a shitty neighbor. You call the police and I am arrested.

Do I get to take my gun with me to jail? Or will the police take the gun from me?

Some of you people don't really think at all.

And if this was a domestic dispute issue they were talking about, thats already part of flagging your arse from purchasing a gun.

Have you ever been convicted in any court of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence, or are you or have you ever been a member of
the military and been convicted of a crime that included, as an element, the use of force against a person as identified in the instructions?

Frankie doesn’t seem to be the most solid of sources for breaking news.

I won’t panic yet.

Calm down, this is nothing more another way to expose more RINO's in the Congress. Hasn't anyone learned 80% of his trial balloons are not serious?
