Construction community in a panic- I’m hearing ICE is Havoc

Apparently ICE rolled in on a residential construction site 2 days ago around Gonzales and cuffed 5 illegals and took them away to never been seen again. Have a few superintendents I know that watched it go down. Everyone in the construction industry is in a panic bc their workers are getting wiped.. any one else experiencing this??

Friends in the roofing, masonry, and shipyard business have all experienced similar. Don't hire illegals and you have nothing to worry about

I talked to one of the ICE guys the other day that flies out of Alexandria… said it’s unreal. They are picking up everyone, whereas it used to be only criminals now it’s anyone and everyone. Said he might fly to 3-4 cities in one day to fill a plane and then fly them back to their country. He made trips in Texas, Florida, 2 trips to Honduras and Brazil in one week.

Naw, the contractors did not lower the prices because of the illegals. They just made more profit. Same with the rest in construction
