Royal Gorge is a must see, that and it’s filled with domestic and foreign terrorists in the Supermax that’s there.
That’s all I got

I mean, I’ve been there many times and it’s beautiful and isolated. But as far as living, I have no idea.

I used to travel there for work a good bit. I would say it is decent for a town of 20,000 or so people that is extremely remote.
There are several prisons in the county (including a super max), which leads to a unique population. On one hand you have got very good jobs working for the various prison systems. On the other hand you have a population of relatives of inmates who want to be in the area for visitation, etc.
There is some beautiful scenery in the area if you like canyon lands and desert-type areas. As a result, a lot of movies have been filmed there.

That’s where they make the Army’s artillery pieces I think.

I’ve been there several times. My dad attended a Catholic boarding school there. It’s a neat area of the state. Southern Colorado doesn’t get as much love as the rest of the state, which is fine by me. I’d like to visit more when my children get older.

Known for great white water rafting and off-roading (dirt bikes, 4 wheelers, jeeps, etc.)

Visited a few years ago. In the mountains (somewhat), but still has that old-west vibe about it.
The gorge is amazing to see.
A lot of good beer and wine around. That’s about all I got

Telluride is where it's at. And do the flight in. You'll thank me.

Sort of a nice outdoors area. Supermax prison is the main employer.

It’s not the first place I’d pick in CO, but you could do a lot worse.
