Bulldogs…what’s the point of these animals?

If we allowed nature to take its course these animals would’ve died out a long time ago.

So that ugly people can feel good about themselves.

Companionship. But you know that. This is rage bait.

Nice try for provoking conversation
I've got an English Bulldog nearing 13 years old and he has more personality and companionship than any other breed I've owned. He is a treasure

I’m not raging. Genuinely curious. Most are racked with so many health problems upon birth that their own existence has to be miserable.

No, we ought to handle that problem ourselves but we’re too pussified to do what needs to be done.
I’m talking about these:

Originally bred to literally bait bulls... The modern "British bulldog" is useless and would not survive in nature. Some countries have banned breeding them because they have so many health issues it is considered cruel to make more.

Don't they have a sh*t ton of hereditary health issues and breathing problems? That's probably what he's talking about.

I'd argue that pugs are even more useless.

Is a pug not an offshoot of a bulldog?
But I agree, they’re also worthless animals.

Catching bayed hogs?

Let's be honest the average bulldog today would be a horrible catch dog. I occasionally take my Ridgebacks on hunts with my nephew. They are the bay dogs and his Dogos are the catch dogs. A bulldog would pass the frick out trying to keep up with my Ridgebacks after maybe 2 minutes. The hog would die of boredom before they got there.
