We definitely have the pitching staff built for Omaha. We haven't been this deep for a long time. No more Johnny whole staff for Sunday. Just a luxury for coach to decide who pitches when. Might have to pull straws for who gets the nod. Going to be a fun Year.

We say this every year when we smoke weak teams to start the season. Dont forget we looked great last year at the start too. We were ranked top 5, went 3-0 in the texas tournament including a win over #15 texas. Then we started SEC play and sucked arse. Didnt get hot until the SEC tourney. Moral of the story is its ok to be excited but we dont know shite until we start sec play.

Then there were a ton of guys who said the bullpen "was who they are" and would frick us in Omaha.
These were the bullpen numbers in Omaha, excluding game 2 against UF where we threw a bunch of guys (save Ack) who had no business throwing in important games.
30 innings. 4 runs. 32 K. 8 walks.
That was with Hurd, Herring, Cooper, Ack, and Guidry.

All it takes is one bad weekend in the post season and you're done. Look at Tennessee in 2022, . Number 1 all year long and had a 57-9 record, loaded talent and lost in supers.

It is a good start to the season, and we have a lot of good players, but we really didn't play anybody this weekend. Much more baseball to be played.

He will be crying the second we are trailing. No fans want to fire every one more than LSU fans. Too many emotionally weak fat assess trying to live vicariously through sports teams.

To be fair, they lost a few seasoned, extremely talented players to many to make a deep run. I thought they did well considering the uphill fight they had in front of them.
We enjoyed a great SEC tournament and a good run post season. There was no dramatic drop off in performance.

1st loss is all it will take for Pirate Queen to start melting and MadQueen to come tell us all that Jay is a poor talent evaluator who can’t construct a lineup properly.
