You are about to make the home bodies down vote you.

The resident army of “potatoes” are about to flock to this thread.

WFH has it's place, it's just not for everyone.
I WFH. I also am the only member of my company on the west coast. Where else should I be working, considering the entire reason I was hired is to extend professional services support to the west coast since my company is located on the east coast?
Should the company spend money to rent out an office for just me?

Your situation is completely unique and has no revelance to what Jamie Dimon is describing in the video

Eh, there are many meetings where you sit there, say nothing, contribute nothing, yet you have to be there. Normally, productive people are doing other work while those meetings are taking place as they are WFH and can have another screen open at the same time.
He then goes on a tirade about tons of committees, which has nothing to do with WFH. That’s his fault yet he somehow conflates it with WFH

Everything he described in the video applies to in office work environments as well.
I am way, WAY more efficient now at my job because I don't have Joe stopping by my office to bullshite, interrupting me trying to get shite done. Or Becky coming by with stupid fricking questions.
People frick off in the office all the damn time.
It's a management issue. Period.

Think of the frequent flyer miles you could get commuting to work every day.

I think he made some pretty strong points. He agreed with you about efficiency.

One of my previous managers did something similar for six months. Flew from Charleston, SC every Monday morning to upstate NY. Then flew back every Friday evening. The client agreed to pay for it to have him onsite during the week.
He said it seriously fricking sucked after about a month, despite him getting super-double-ultra-secret status.

Is this audio on any platform other than Tictoc? I have a suspicion that is not Dimon.

Another day, another John Barron post bitching about WFH while undoubtedly on the clock at the nursing home.

False. That's what you want to believe. There are way more distractions at home especially if you have kids. When humans have no supervision it's in their nature to slack off. You literally have WFH people complaining about going back to the office because they won't be able to pick up their kids from school anymore. Stop with the BS

He's right about some work-from-homers... or a lot of them... but frick Jamie Dimon. I don't give a frick what he says. Team WFH!
FYI... I do not WFH... but I wish I could.
