Past three seasons, the top assist man is 3.0 apg or less. Find me a school in the country in the modern era that can make that claim.

I can only find two other individual years at LSU, at least in the modern era, where someone didn't have more than 3 pg: 2010-11 season and 2003-04.

McMahon has managed to do it three years in a row.

Hard to have assist when 80% of the time nobody moves

Watching Alabama and Auburn and Kentucky play I see constant back cuts, ball movement, and screens.

What do we do on offense?

Did some quick excel work. 12 teams out of the 364 teams have not had a player average above 3 assists per game in the last 3 years

UNI
Stony Brook
Lehigh
Prairie View
LSU
South Carolina St.
UMES
Cal St. Fullerton
Mississippi Val.
Tarleton St.
East Texas A&M
Stonehill

LSU is the only Power 5 team in the country to not have a single player above 3 asts/game

Bellarmine

This is pretty surprising. Bellarmine's entire scheme is predicated on dribbling the ball as little as possible

But we just need to give him more money so he can buy better players that can actually make assists!!!

If he had the Memphis grizzlies roster he still wouldn’t have anyone with 3ast

It’s hard to see him fumbling all this talent

I went back and compared the NCAA official stats to ESPN's stats. For some reason the NCAA's stats were a little off, particularly for this year, not sure why that is. Taking a look at ESPN's stats, these teams have in fact had at least one player over 3:

Bellarmine
North Dakota
Chattanooga
Coastal Carolina
Florida A&M
Nicholls
St. Thomas (MN)
Le Moyne
Queens (NC)
Southern Indiana
Utah Tech
Lindenwood

My original list has been updated. So in summary, its even worse than what I initially put

And when they do move the defender is glued right to them - no separation so there's nowhere to throw the ball.

Watched a set where sears had the ball. At the point. Carter went to the right wing and down to near the block to set up a pindown. The defender didn’t even think about chasing. They know what we are doing and that our secondary action unproductive. When we score it is overwhelmingly because our player won based on their own skill and not our offensive sets putting them at an advantage.

He favors throwing undersized 2 guards at point instead of true point guards
