It sucks to say ,but I am glad my wife and I are sick with the flu and not at work. The News stations here are reporting it is an Afghani refugee known to the Polezi.

MUNICH, Germany, Feb 13 (Reuters) - At least 20 people were injured when a car drove into a crowd in Munich on Thursday, police said, as the southern German city prepares for a top-level security conference due to be attended by U.S. Vice President JD Vance and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy.

The Bild newspaper said police would have to establish whether the driver of the Mini Cooper had deliberately driven into the crowd or mixed up the accelerator and brake.

Police set up a gathering point for witnesses in the Loewenbraeukeller, one of Munich's oldest beer halls.

Sounds like a good plan. Get the witnesses liquored up and see how the stories go. Seems like something NOPD would do.

Doesn't seem like the best choice for this kind of operation.

Better check the trunk.

It’s time to take a serious look at car violence reform.

Not being rude, but I don't get this part. Are you and your wife police officers in Munich?

We need common sense car control laws.

I think it was a subtle way of saying "I'm in Germany" without just saying it.
