Hmm. This feels like the organization is forcing people on Moore. If that’s the case, it don’t make me happy.

He was with us for a long time under Payton.
But he was also with Staley and Moore in LA

Not at all he was Moore’s OL coach at LA

at this point I don't mind it. The last to fill the head coaching vacancy so what can we expect? I don't know.
might as well go with people that they know.

Hopefully he knows a good, cheap LG that he can bring with him.

We had a good OL those years with Terron, Ram, Peat, Larry Warford, and of course Drew Brees helps
Like the hire but we need better OL too

There’s no evidence that they’re “forcing” people on Moore. It’s just as likely that they discuss hires with Moore

You have to remember Staley originally hired Joe Lombardi as OC who brought some of our guys, who remained when Staley hired Moore. There is a connection/familiarity

We are also late to the game so organizational relationships are going to play a big factor

It also doesn’t mean he can’t make adjustments to the coaching staff a year from now. This is a fine hire for Year 1

Feels like you're making assumption.
Because they have clearly stated that they are going to let Moore pick his own staff.

What coach doesn’t? Loomis might be a senile old frick but he’s not and has never been a Jerry Jones type as far as forcing hires or fires on the coaching staff.
If there is any retention on Moore’s staff from our past coaching staff, it’s likely because the guys he want took other jobs or he figures he can make adjustments after Year 1, which happen all the time. Sometimes Year 1 coaches aren’t able to get the guys they want or need especially if they’re the last coach to be hired in the cycle
