Total meltdown by the players. Last two minutes looked like they were passing a hand grenade around. Called a time out and drew up a great play gets to the line and bricks two free throws. McMahon can’t catch a break and it’s going to cost him his job.

It was def partly on him. Should have pulled chest arse out after the technical. Then he decided not to coach the rest of the game.

Nice troll job. He panicked when they started pressing and didn’t make adjustments there’s a reason he’s 10-41 in Q1/2 games

Yes. No matter how you try to spin it, if you blow that lead with that little time left, it is absolutely on coaching.

Had we won the game the record is still 2-8. You’re acting like we’re a bubble team and just lost a game that may keep us out of the field.

What exactly is it that a coach does then?
He assembled the team. Installed an offense and defense. They practiced all of these things and situations. It’s literally all on him

It was on McMahon. He was up 11 with around 2:30 left and his team was jacking up quick shots. You call timeout and pull whoever does it again. A real coach would’ve don’t that and would’ve won the game with walk ons if need be.

Everything that happens on the floor is on the coach, good or bad.

Look man, I like Mac as a guy. He’s a good dude. And he can probably be great at some Mac school or in the Southland or something.

But it’s time.

If it makes you feel better, he doesn’t need all the smoke that coaching in this conference gets you either. Take the buyout and go rediscover your love for the game. It’s a meat grinder here. He doesn’t need it and we don’t either. It’s time to move on.

And bring back tPear.

At this point man the small details of the game doesn’t matter. This team does not know how to win in the SEC.

It's almost as if he and Wade should trade jobs.

If he drew up a play to get his worst free throw shooter to the line, he needs to be fired today.

This game won't cost him his job, all the other SEC losses will. He is now 12-34 in the SEC in his 3rd season with 8 more games to go. Odds are he ends up 13-41in the SEC with two 2-16 SEC seasons. He needs to be gone sooner rather than later IMO.
