Obviously LSU is just not serious about winning in men’s basketball. Even with LSU’s history of producing really good/great players, the program is just an afterthought.

I don’t trust Scott to do anything else with bball. Don’t let him think he knows better. We can’t handle another 3-4 year waste of time.

I don’t think that he “doesn’t care” but this hire has failed badly and the program is now in a shitty situation trying to navigate that contract ($$) and finding a coach who will walk into this mess to fix it

I don't care whether Woodward cares or not. He is the one that let himself be negotiated into a horrible contract for LSU. In other words, he didn't do his job. The idea that we couldn't get a coach if we didn't lie down on the contract is nothing but bull.

This is such a lazy take. Basketball makes infinitely more money and is way more important than baseball. We’ve won 7 national titles and it barley breaks makes a profit

Literally in your first response you pointed out that baseball won 7 natties and doesn't turn a profit..so it seems you CAN have a pretty nice program without a profit

Yes he does. Why do you think he fired JJ & brought in Will Wade ??. If he didn't care he would have let JJ coach another ten years. I spoke to him after Wade's last game as coach at the Indy football stadium. He wants a winner. That's why he hired Wade. He is not gonna settle for mediocrity and a last place SEC finish. Change has to be coming.
