I just cut a check to both Feds and state after filing income taxes on top of the mini fortune they took from me all year for doing well.
Then we see all of the disgusting fraud, waste and abuse that pigs feeding at trough got fat on..:
This has to stop.

It’s figurative…none of us were ignoring it. What other choice did we have without the hard evidence to flesh out our suspicions?
It’s almost worse that we know and the activist judicial branch is acting up again to prevent action…they risk the populace ignoring their rulings and this will lead to open rebellion or autocratic rule.

Quarterly estimated. Yep, they base it on the previous year. If you make a good profit in one year, you pay the same estimated for the next. Then in April Uncle Sam gives you back the difference (usually in credit for the current year) Yes, for many people the government gets your taxes before they know what you’re going to make.

Nobody was fricking sleeping. Anyone with common sense knew these bastards were crooked but, until Trump, they were all on the same team. R and D all have hands in the cookie jar so they weren’t going to do anything.

Who is "they"? You determine the quarterly amount, if any, that you choose to pay. Maybe you hire an accountant to recommend an amount, but it is your decision.
If I had a big year but expect the following year to be less, I would never simply match the previous year.
No penalty if you pay 90% of what you will eventually owe or if you pay 110% of previous year's amount. Simply paying the 110% is lazy. Only pay 110% if you expect a bigger year.

Every fricking year I see someone post about a trip or purchase they made using their refund.
