Solid lineup with him, the Mavericks, and 49 Winchester.

Haven’t been to a concert in the arena in years so I’m interested to see how good/bad it sounds.

We will be there. Love Dwight, saw him twice many years ago - really good show live. But maybe even better, in my opinion, are the Mavericks. Seen them live five or six times and their shows are always fantastic - you’re in for a treat with them. 49 Winchester? I didn’t know there was a third act - l haven’t seen that anywhere.

We don't got no Goddamn band! We don't need to fricking practice, Randy! We don't no shite-arse manager neither! You motherfrickers! You all are a bunch of losers! I'm the only sane son-of-a-bitch here! So get the *frick* out of my house now!

Dwight was great. But Mavericks were amazing.

I agree that The Mavericks stole the show. The trumpet was incredible for The Mavs. Really all of the musicians for the Mavs were incredible.

The singer and lead guitar for 49 Winchester were excellent too.

Outstanding show! The Mavericks definitely were on top of their game. What shocked me was how sparse the attendance was. I would of thought a show like that would fill at least half the venue but I bet it wasn't 10% filled.

Hmm. If you think it was only 10% full then you must not have been there. No it wasn’t a packed house but it was close to half full.

I was there. Paid $24 a piece for 2 tix. The upper sections had no more than a few dozen people total. The lower sections next to us had no one sitting in entire sections. We could of moved down to the floor into vacant seats. Good show but really poorly attended.

The mavericks killed it. I’d never heard them before and thought they were Dwight yoakam at first

It seems like nobody can sell out the river center except that Chinese cult that comes through a couple times a year

Baton Rouge is a shite market for touring acts no matter who the band is

Anyone got experience in how much these acts get paid for a show like this? Is it a guaranteed price? Percentage of the tickets sold? Does the promoter rent the building and pay security?

Online info looks pretty sketchy. Google search says 49 Winchester is 40k - 70k per show, same for The Mavericks. It shows Dwight yoakam at 75k - 150k.

that seems like special event one offs. No way was that money guaranteed.

probably went something like this:
49 Winchester - guaranteed 15K
Mavericks - guaranteed 25K
Dwight - 50-60K

Then likely an 80/20 split of anything over that after expenses for promoter. Unlikely from attendance reports.

Would have liked to this show.
I don't know anything about 49 Winchester, but I'm a huge fan Yoakam and The Mavericks.
