If you can't adequately explain what you do for the organization and why it's necessary in 15 minutes, you don't deserve to be drawing a paycheck.

Need to cut most of those meetings down to 5 minutes, or interview about 10 at a time. Need more efficiency.

In a former life in gov't, if someone from a different department asked me what I did, it took me way less than 5 minutes to give a rundown of what I did, who I worked with, and explain further if they asked follow up questions.
But....I never intended to stay in that job for life, and I didn't.
