I get such a kick out of people claiming these Cartels are about to really stop the US Military or that even the Mexican Government will side with the Cartels

These groups are going to get annihilated to a man, their best bet is to sell off everything they can, at fire sale prices, and disappear with the cash

As we speak, ISR flights are happening all over Mexico. Saddam wouldn't have let us fly over Iraq, he aggressively defended his air space with his anti-air 'capabilities' and Hezbollah would even try to shoot down our ISR flights and our refuelers that are loitering near Mexican air space.

The cartels have definitely gotten more equipped/advanced but some SF teams could easily shut them down. Maybe Trump has the balls to get Erik Prince involved and really shite those frickers down. This could be over quick.

They are really frigging stupid. Good luck fighting against satellite imagery, cruise missiles, drones followed by F-35s, F-15s, B-52s, B-1Bs then A-10s, Apaches and then the C-130 gunships. If there is anything left good luck with the Bradley’s and Abram’s and even scarier a pissed off bunch of GIs.

We wouldn’t even need the B-2s or F-22s.

I hate to say it but I hope they find out. I hate the cartels have the option to wait Trump out for 4 years and could possibly start back up if Vance isn’t elected. I don’t want war unless it’s absolutely necessary but we may be at that point with this level of evil so close to home.

The cartels would be wiped from the planet in 24-48 hours at most without the US military suffering a single injury due to the cartels.

What a dumb bitch

She obviously hasn’t been here long enough to know the bottom of Hell will open up as soon as they get the balls to jump.

I've seen this same stupid rhetoric. They have no idea what our military is capable of. The cartel will be wiped out without a single troop on the ground.

The Cartels have responded, they forward deployed several combined arms divisions to the Border Regions consisting of 350,000 troops and support personnel, 2,500 tanks and armored infantry fighting vehicles, 1500 MLRS and Radar Guided Artillery, 20 S-500 Regiments and 50 S-400 Regiments along with all the needed support personnel.

I heard they scrambled 6 squadrons of SU-57s and 2 Squadrons of SU-75s. They've also activated their "Bomber Net" and have launched all of their strategic bombers equipped with Hyper Sonic Missiles.

To confront our Navy they sent two Carriers escorted by eight Destroyers and four heavy cruisers along with an unknown number of Attack Submarines.

Oh wait, never mind, they don't have any of that, they're busy partying while one of them keeps an eye on ADS-B Exchange as their 'early warning' system

But hey, they got gold plated AKs, and that's nice

We can only hope that she's hanging with the homies and caught up in the action when we decide to take out the cartels for good. Dumb asses like that need to be collateral damage.

Within months after 9/11, SOF had the taliban dismantled and defeated. Then big army wanted to play; then, quagmire.

Afghanistan is halfway around the world. Mexico is next door.

As someone who was a member of JSOC doing the HUMINT component of target packages in Afghanistan in like 2010, using the technology we had available then with the action arms of delta force, seal team 4 and 6, ranger recon, and our navy off the coast coupled with the worlds best air force with planes so far beyond anything else the rest of the world can fathom; if we had the will to do it with proper planning we could completely eradicate the cartel in a week

That was the policy makers, not the military.
