Why are people upset with Scott Woodward?

The NCAA made it impossible to keep Will Wade, every school in that situation would’ve done the same thing. Dudes won a title in four different sports since he’s stepped foot on campus as AD. Crazy to question him or want him gone.

Because Woodward it a fat pussy who bent the knee to his FIL while other schools told the NCAA to pound sand and still have their "cheating" coach.

No, it wasn’t at all impossible. In fact the NCAA has become so powerless now it would have been easy - suspend WW for the start of the season like McNeese did and MAYBE a 1yr postseason ban.

People are pissed at Woodward for firing Wade, the issue that nobody talks about is that he was under heavy pressure from alot of people to do so at the time. Nobody wants to talk about that part of it though. It wasn't just the Will Wade stuff. The Derrius Guice/Les Miles stuff was an issue at the time as well. The decision was made to sacrifice basketball and hopefully keep the NCAA out of the football program. Why didn't LSU just tell them to frick off? I'm not sure, but Woodward isn't the only one to blame on this. Honestly, Alleva should take most of the blame. The way he handled Wade from the very beginning was where this whole problem began.

Fine. Then go fix it. Wade is performing well at his 4th school and will be a major conference coach again soon.

With all of the begging and pleading for season ticket holders to show up, I wonder why I never see Woodward at the games.

I think it’s bullshite the FBi were ever investigating this
I think he got a fricking raw deal and would love to have him back.
But pretending Woodward didn’t do what every other AD would do is fricking dumb.

And that is exactly what the school wanted people to believe. The IARP was never going to hit basketball or football very hard.

I was told from fairly reliable sources that Woodward actually did not want to fire Will Wade. However, the Board of Supervisors and President Tate thought LSU could not keep Wade after the Notice of Allegations.
