DOGE seems to be avoiding the spotlite. I bet it is on purpose . The main offensive to shut down giveaways and force folks back to the office creates a lot of opportunity for inbred folks to show their hand on public media .I suspect Musk has his private information. system working over time to scrape the information net, identifying scams and resistance.

I think it’s better if DOGE remains out of sight.

Certainly don’t want to be posting the playbook. I’ll be satisfied with (and expect only) announcements of accomplishments only.

Disagree. Drag the termites into the sunlight. It's better if Trump and Musk stick to the Social Media approach. Every time something is identified take it to the people and encourage them to hound their Senators and Congressmen, and the Fake News. Congress will act, or at least not interfere, if they are afraid of the mob.

Does not matter. Just collecting data to send to the right people/committee.

I'll know they're serious about the budget and the massive Federal deficit when they start proposing cuts and solutions to Social Security, Medicare/Medicaid, and Defense spending. Let me know when they done pretending.
Until that time this is just bread and circuses for the masses. Demonize those lazy Fed workers, round up some illegals, watch them cheer.
(The Feds could always use some reform and trimming of the fat, but what's going on now is ridiculous. It's diminishing and demoralizing to people that serve the country. Illegals, round them all up, all for it.)

DOGE is not a division of the federal gov so no. Also they can't use an AI program without some approval especially one that doesn't come from a gov agency to monitor employee personal data.

Unless you kick people to the curb, there are no big money savers here. There are savings, but not the kind that will radically change our trajectory.

The raw power of the Executive has been neutered over the years. POTUS Trump is pushing the envelope and will use the courts, if necessary, to right the ship called "Executive Power".
I love what SCOTUS did last summer with the Chevron decision. It was and will going forward GLORIOUS!!
