Google just announced Google Maps will call the Gulf of Mexico the Gulf of America

I dont get the excitement nor the dread.
I am happy to change the name but TBH, it has been the GOM my whole life and I cant imagine me change they way I say it.

It's just revenge on liberals changing everything from military bases to statues of our founding fathers and military heroes to the spelling and pronunciation of Kiev. They've done it to us nonstop for 14 years or longer. Important to push back IMO.

I basically cost nothing. Toook relitivly no time/manpower. And every state that touches the gulf is as MAGA as u get.
Maybe it will also keep the snowbirds from up north clogging the beaches….

It's not for you. It's for the population in 10-20-30-40 years down the road. It's called changing history which usually does not immediately happen
