Elijah Haven (‘27) signs NIL deal with Matt Bowers Auto (Ole Miss alum)

Not to be a sky screamer but that is genuinely bad. Bowers is a piece of shite and I don't need piece of shite Ole Miss alumni getting into the ear (financially) of the no. 1 player in the country in my backyard.

I still think we ultimately get Haven, but it's unfortunate that an LSU alum couldn't get something like this done sooner.

What does this even mean? Does he have to sign with a specific school his senior year? If not, this is just pissing money in to the wind. Why would they want to waste money like this with no contract or ability to enforce where he signs?

No, they are getting their foot in the door early on the #1 QB in the country. Whether or not it pays off, time will tell. Bryce Underwood was wearing a $15k LSU chain on his visit. That was some LSU booster pissing money into the wind.
