Posting to see how his acting chops grade out on TD
He's a bit of an enigma to me when trying to figure out a consensus.

He’s honestly a pretty solid actor. The only problem is any good movie you watch with him in it he is overshadowed by someone else. Even in his best performance, No Country for Old Men, he pales in comparison to Javier Bardem. His second best would probably be the fugitive, but that was 30 years ago.

Excellent
Subtle. Intelligent. Can speak volumes with just a look.

I’m sure he’s good but it seems he always plays a similar character.
He was laughable in Cobb in the flashback scenes.

One of my favorite. He's got a lot of good movies IMO. The Executioner's Song, Coal Miners Daughter, The Fugitive, Electric Mist, In the Valley of Elah to name a few.
He was Al Gore's roommate at Harvard, first-team All-Ivy League, and is Cherokee.

I would agree that he “plays the same character” but he has a good range within that character because of his acting ability. Similar to Hackman in his later years, or even Morgan Freeman.

Well, he was only in that one movie if you can call it that… he’s better known for guitar.
Ohhh… Tommy Lee JONES.
My bad.

Great actor. I enjoy his work. He's entertaining. He always seems genuine on and off the screen.

Never expected him to do much Macbeth, but he kills the parts he's in , for the most part.
He's had several memorable roles. About as much as an actor can ask, I'd say.
