Only if you don't have a smartphone with some sort of music app on it.

I have it but I pretty much exclusively listen to the Billy Joel channel, Beatles channel, and the Bridge

Classic Vinyl, Outlaw Country, and the Grateful Dead channel.

I like it for Sports Talk Radio. Dan Patrick from 8-11, Rich Eisen from 11-2. The radio stations have a good variety I think. Billy Joel channel, Lithium for alternative, Prime Country. We pay $17/month for 2 cars and streaming. I had a car this week with no XM, and terrestrial radio is REALLY BAD.

I love having it in the car. It's basically $5 or 6 bucks a month, well worth it.

Ive had Sirius XM for the last 17 or 18 yrs and i love it.. ive tried Spotify, Pandora et al but they dont have what Sirius offers in terms of dozens of sports channels (espn, Fox Sports, Mad Dog) as well as a million different news and talk channels.. and of course, the music like 70s on 7, 80s on 8, the Bridge and stuff like that.. i actually just called yesterday to renew my Sirius subscription for a year and got it down to $9 US dollars per month, including the app for my phone which i always use when im working out .. for me it’s totally worth it .

I pay $9 a month for the platinum plan. Also have the app. Been a subscriber for over 15 years.

It’s not.. the package i have is ‘officially’ like $32 per month , with a price increase coming in March… but if youve never had it, should be real easy to call and ask them for an intro offer for six months or a year… as for me, i just put it on my calendar to call once per year for like 20 minutes, tell them i cant afford whatever price they have me set to renew at- then i say im going to be forced to cancel if i cant get the same deal (or better) that i got last year- and then shut up and let them talk…. always works for me, with very little effort or negotiation .

It's the only thing I listen to. Have it in all my vehicles.

Most large city radio sucks. It’s a must.

I got it back in the early 2000s when you get a lifetime subscription.

Call them and insist on $6 month for a year. Make sure to set a reminder just prior to end of year to call and cancel. If you don't they will auto charger you $20 a month. When you call say you want to cancel and they'll give you $6 a month again.

With all that said SiriusXM sucks even for $6 a month. I let it go last year. Lots of B side music.
