Not disagreeing but that does raise the question of who else would be in contention. John Quincy and Louisa Adams would be strong contenders. She's largely forgotten but apparently she was once well regarded as a travel writer, poet, and playwright. FDR and Eleanor, obviously. And though it makes my skin crawl, Bubba and Hillary Milhous-Clinton are in the conversation. I hate her but it's not because she's dumb.
