My daughter ended up with one NIB from a divorce. I have M&Ps so I'm familiar with their evolution, which ones can benefit from trigger improvements, etc. but I know very little about the HK. I would hope for the price it's ready to go out of the box but if there are any helpful details about them I'm all ears. She's shot most of my handguns but I'm taking her to get familiar with it next week.

I bought a VP9 L. They feel better than 90% of handguns in your hands and shoot great. You don't have to tinker with them other than changing the grips. They ready to go out of the box.

i Have one among a large assortment of other handguns. One of the best I own and frequently carry. No issues at all. She should be very well served

Put an optic on it. Get it milled. Maybe a flat trigger.

I've had one for years and it's been as reliable as ever. Highly recommend to those who don't have one

I’ve had two. Similar in many ways to the Walther. Great shooter with extraordinary trigger in a striker fire. Keeper

No one who paid for an HK will have anything bad to say about it. Ever heard somebody badmouth their $300 sunglasses?

If you can afford it, buy one. You'll never regret it.

I was not familiar with HK and a friend has a HK CC9 and loves it. Great looking small carry.

Anyone have a CC9?

My step son has one, it’s a bad arse pistola. One of the smoothest handguns I’ve ever shot.

How does the Turkish ripoff compare to the actual VP9?

The Sar 9.

PSA is selling these older non-optics cut versions for pennies right now. ($250 or below) .

Most of the reviews I've read on their and elsewhere have been positive on the SAR's. I've never held one so I'm not sure.

My wife has one. For a 9mm it is a snappy gun. My wife won’t shoot it but has no problem shooting my Glock 9mms.
