What a powerful message. I want to watch this, but I just don't know if I can.

Unless you were apart of it or family members a part, then why?

Surviving Black Hawk Down? Why not call it Surviving Mogadishu? Are we such vapid, brain dead society that people don't remember the first Clinton military disaster (the second being Hilary's Benghazi screw up) and only know a movie that they probably don't even know was based on a true story?

Will watch. The book is definitely worth reading if you liked the movie. Tons of detail, such as the background and training of the Delta Force guys, that a movie lacks the time to explore.

I can still remember being in Barnes and Noble looking at books. A friend came by and pointed to BHD and said that was the one I should get. Good tip. First I had heard of it. It was incredible and, a not long after the movie came out.

Mike Durant was a business owner in Huntsville (sold the business a couple of years ago). I've had the pleasure of taking him to lunch on a couple of occasions. Very interesting guy. Will definitely tune in for this.

When you've been shot at, mortared, had friends blown up, etc., it doesn't really matter the setting. It brings back flashbacks you might not be prepared to deal with.

You're right. I had seal in my head for some reason. Thanks.

One of the first movies that I owned with a good 5.1 system... Sounds great.
