Women in Combat: What say you?

Apparently, many Democrats are hammering Pete Hegseth on his views regarding the roles of women in combat. While Pete does openly wish to see women in the military, he doesn't think it would serve us well to have them in combat situations where they are on the front lines.
I wonder how my fellow veterans feel about this? The veterans and the active military members are the ones who give the best prospective, not the fake, phony politicians.
I have done things and seen things that I truly believe are not easily done by women, if they do it at all. Women should not be allowed to choose 11B as their MOS, in any case.

They don't belong in combat. Hell, they shouldn't even be voting

Women in Combat: What say you?
That is the only way I would even consider it.

I dont see an issue if they can handle it
Just not sure what women would want to participate in real combat

If they can do all the physical and mental requirements of combat, sure...but I doubt 1% in the military can. Therein lies the rub.

If they can handle the physical and psychological rigors, sure.

It has been shown to be a failure when done by the USSR and Israel. Male casualties increase without any improvement of objectives taken. You don’t win wars consistently by taking unnecessary casualties.
But, Democrats love shite that doesn’t work but sounds good.
If Democrats were serious, they would push to have women subject to the draft AND combat. They won’t because their female voters handle equality as a buffet where they can pick and choose the features they like and reject those they don’t like.

Still not a fan.
There are countless roles in a modern military that they are great for. I don't want women in combat, even if they meet the same standards as men.
Ive got a moral compass block that will not allow me to be OK with intentionally putting women into contact.

News flash... there are different standards for men and women when it comes to physical fitness requirements in the military. It's the only way they can pass.
The answer is no... women don't belong in any military roles other than administrative duty.

The armed forces needs nurses, secretaries, logistics staff and all manner of paper pushers.
The best and most talented of them can still rise to high ranks in managerial roles, like Susie Wiles.

Women do not belong in direct combat roles. It’s an unpopular opinion but like you, I’ve seen and done shite and seen shite done that is pretty fricking horrible.
Add to that the logistics of making shite “woman” friendly and it detracts from the mission.
I can remember a real bitch of an E-4 we had that was all about her being equal. We were loading out pallets to go somewhere and she asked me to lift something for her. I responded with “your striped ought to be just as strong as mine since we are equal”.
It didn’t go over well but frick her.

I don’t have a problem as long as they’re not integrated into infantry.

Nurses are really needed

4x4, you really must be missing the 18th Century. But hang in there.

Which is why he said they have to meet the EXACT same physical standards that the men have to meet, otherwise no combat positions.

I've been told by air force pilots that women's bodies are better suited for being fighter pilots. It's easier for them to push blood up from their legs and into their torso when flying in extreme g forces.

Even if they "can" there are still bigger issues.
I was a Tank Commander and bought on Abrams tanks for over 20 years. They require a 4 person tank crew and you sleep on top or inside those bastards. Your showers are 4 people standing on topnof a pallet under a 5 gallon water jug by the back deck of the tank. The 3 people inside the turret are close enough to touch each other and having to piss in a Gatorade bottle while still operating the tank is normal every day shite.
Luckily I retired right as they were allowing women to enlist in combat arms MOSs because i was definitely not dealing with that bullshite.
