I know I rarely ever post here or really at all these days, but sharing what I’ve been told from 2 different people that are closely connected to the organization… it’s Glenn’s if he wants it. Between us and the Jets. Obviously things can change quickly, but that’s what I’ve been told as of today.

Feel free to believe or not, I just like to share with fellow fans. At this point though, I don’t think it’s a secret that the Saints want Glenn

Hearing similar things. Also hearing the McCarthy rumored connection to Saints is overblown.

Same. I didn’t expect him to really be an option

So Dennis Allen re-tread. Saints will always be a back up plan even for mediocre candidates

I don't dislike Glenn as the hire, but I have a hard time justifying it over McCarthy.

11k posts and you rarely post here? Ok, you’re very believable. You also aren’t saying anything we didn’t know months ago when Allen was canned.

Why do they want Glenn as opposed to Brady?

OC vs DC.

Brady has the Saints and LSU background.

Glenn has the Saints background.

Is it the "Drew Brees Wokester Minority Preference" BS!

If it’s between us and the Jets it’s time for Gayle to play hardball. She needs to give Glenn 24 hours to decide, no extension. We can’t afford to be pitted against the Jets back and forth bullshite.

In that case should of kept DA until the cap space is cleared so we can get a better candidate

I just have this sinking feeling that we’ll lose out on both McCarthy and Glenn and we’ll hire Rizzi. All these other teams are interviewing candidates and we haven’t interviewed anyone in a week.

We’re a joke.

Because besides McVay, when you need a culture shift, young coaches rarely work out.

Thats my reason at least.

People will bring up O'Connell as a counter, but that Viking have been a decent team who couldn't make it over the hump for whatever reason and have a great culture and Demeco Ryan was a former NFL player who's been around for a while.

I just don't think Brady who's the "laid back chill guy" is going to be able to change the culture from what we have to what we need.

I want what the Lions have. Let's eat some kneecaps.

Better question is why would a young up and comer like Brady go to New Orleans? And Brady knows first hand what a dumpster fire the organization is.

It wouldnt be a shock if Brady had his rep say thanks but no thanks.

Lazy Loomis with another lazy hire. Nothing will change. Mediocrity without changing Loomis who is involved in acquiring players, draft picks, contracts, and cap hell year after year.

We won 26 games in the two seasons that Brady was here. I doubt he considers the organization a dumpster fire.

I hate when people (not you) pull up how many posts people have like it's some kind of verification for if they're qualified to give information or not. People have good info or they don't. There's people who post every hour who Have no idea what they're talking about

He’s the one who said it. I just pointed out the absurdity.

Hope so.

Glenn will be a good HC for some team.

I’m just glad Saints talk has no vote in the coaching hire.
