What’s the biggest need/PITA for you?

I’ll admit, I’m not an avid hunter. However I am business minded and always looking for a way to make money.
This time it’s not for me. One of my mentees is looking to fill his extra time with a side hustle. I dug deep into him to figure out what his best skill and interest were and how he could monetize.
We came to this. Repair, clean, and prep hunting equipment. Decoys, blinds, boats, side by sides, fourwheelers, etc… I told him I’d ask the wonderful folks at TD.
What in your hunting world, would you be more than willing to outsource to a very detailed guy to repair, clean, or prep your hunting weekend?

I don't mind doing it, but some of the older more wealthy people would probably like fish cleaning and/or boat cleaning and storage after a fishing trip.
Have it launched and docked when you want to go out. And after, just walk off the boat and head to the house.

I know a guy that likes to wax his truck before we go 4wheelin in the mountains.
He likes the way the mud beads up on the wax.
Get a random orbital polisher and some ceramic wax and start charging to wax trucks. Before and after. pro tip….that’s double.
Buy cheap first. 24 dollars.

I'd pay to have somebody organize all my hunting junk and dispose of the stuff I haven't used in 5 years without telling me when they're doing it or what they're going to throw away

I’d pay to have somebody clean the blackjack off my four wheeler when it’s bad… only if they did it without a pressure washer.

How good is he at filling feeders and changing game camera batteries?

He’s thinking about land prep as well. Doesn’t know anything about land development but filling feeders and changing batteries is easy.
Can even prep and repair stands while there

Traveling around in a RV/travel trailer, they can pick up a lot of road grime. I see guys that have a mobile hot water pressure washer at rv parks washing RV’s.
Installing roof membranes on rv’s. I’ve seen those guys as well.

ATV detailing would probably make some cash.
Not much needed as far as equipment .
I hate washing my bikes after riding.

To me a turn key camp service in places like Venice and Grand Isle would be week received. What I mean is a service where you take orders for groceries and booze stock the camp and maybe even the boats for fishermen coming down then when they are done clean the boats. I have always thought that idea would be very well received and many would do it.
Wouldn’t appeal to everyone but I bet it would to many.

I had a great side hustle years ago, programming H cards

I don’t know if it would make him any real money but if I had someone to dewasp and fix up my stands every year before hunting season……. I don’t know what I would pay for that but it would probably be more than I would tell my wife I paid.

How about an old riverboat casino that's no longer in use? The old Belle of Baton Rouge may soon be for sale.

I’ve read all of these. This seems to be the most common.
Next question would be, what about a one stop shop of drop off your deer, duck, etc., have it cleaned and brought to the processor for you and meat delivered to you when it’s done.
While you drop off your game, leave your boat, four wheeler, etc to be cleaned inside and out?

Sight in rifle to 200 or 300 yards. (At least get it close as possible)

Food plots. I don't own a tractor so I make due with lawn mowers, disc on my 4 wheeler and dragging a gate behind to smooth. Some plots are soft and easy. Some are a total bitch.

You are going to lose a lot of time on the road doing a service like this. You may do 2 or 3 jobs in a full day, or just one for 3 hours. Good luck hustlin!!

Where is he located/looking to work? What’s his skill set?

Seems like detailing boats would make someone a good living, and maybe a good business if done well enough.
I wonder how the ceramic stuff is panning out lately?
