You can't assume that the fire isn't Vegan.

I have eaten thousands of almonds in my life and I've never seen a teat on a single one... Scam!

It's such a shame. That's by far the most resource gifted state in the country and it can't stop a fire while it borders the largest body of water on earth.

I don't understand, do they not have pumps and tanks to get water out of the ocean?

By the way it takes 1.1 gallons of water to create a single almond and 3 gallons of water for an 8 ounce glass of almond milk

I’m glad they included this, but they could have gone into further detail. Almonds are grown in CA, and they consume 17% of the agricultural water there, which is ~13% of the total developed water supply.

(I knew almonds were grown there in numbers and they used a bunch of water to do so, which led me to looking up the numbers.)

Do you want them to salt their burned lands as well?

The smokehouse flavor are the best of all the almonds. I guess it all makes sense now.

I can’t even laugh at this. This is beyond heartbreaking. Cali has beautiful natural resources and land and so many animals that are burning up.

Ah yes...that is a VERY good long term idea...douse everything with salt water to ensure NOTHING can grow there ever again.

I'm sure that's exactly what he meant and not the obvious solution of desalinization first.

Y'all need to stop using Occam's razor to shave your buttholes.

I mean, if that makes you feel better I guess.

If this fella is doing it, it’s a safe assumption that others have as well. Desperate people with almond milk a’plenty.

There's no reason to grow anything in these wildfire areas anyways. All the good farmland is in the central valley.

I know, if only other places in the world that aren't run by ilberal idiots and don't burn to ground all the time that also happen to border a giant body of saltwater could chime in on "the secret'. I mean, HOW DO THEY DO IT? How do other places in the world prevent this?

Eh. We have a shite ton of water and snow pack. But we're wasteful as hell with it by not having more reservoirs built.
