re: Need a large SUV for a family of 6

I drove the new Expedition in Boston a couple of weeks ago and I loved it. BlueCruise (self driving) was awesome. Would be perfect for those long trips. You can also get a fully loaded one for much less than a similar Suburban/Yukon.

re: Wemby and Draymond’s exchange last night

I canceled YTTV and switched to DirecTV Stream. Was able to watch the LSU/Bama game in 4K which was nice.

Our company announced today that their insurance cost went up $5.3 million for 2026 and they would be covering 80% of that increase. Our premium will be going from $370 to $420 per month for a family.

He's got a long way to go to match Piazza or sniff the hall of fame. One good season and y'all want to crown him?
re: New Age Outdoor kitchen cabinets
Posted by Chasin The Tiger on 10/10/25 at 11:59 am to Neauxla
Just be aware of stainless steel and rusting. I have a "Grilla Grill" stainless outdoor kitchen and it rusted pretty badly within a year. I was able to get it pretty clean though with a mixture of 30% vinegar and bar keepers friend. If I had to do it again I would've went with a masonry outdoor kitchen.

He's my neighbor. Genuinely good guy and I feel for his wife and children. Hopefully he can somehow pull through.

He is signed to Interscope records which is underneath Universal Music Group. The largest/most valuable record label in the world right now.

When it first came out, every one was convinced it wasn't him since he was on tour, had sold the vehicle, and no one thought he was dumb enough to kill someone and dump the body in a vehicle he owned.

Yea their editing is trash. She went "missing" when she was 13 in 2023, but it was later confirmed she had just run away with the singer.
Singer d4vd linked to murdered teen
Posted by Chasin The Tiger on 9/18/25 at 1:01 pm
I can't find the original thread on this, but more developments have come out in the past few days.
Seems like d4vd was grooming this girl for years and was likely the one who murdered her.

I went with Pioneer and installed myself. Much cheaper than Mitsubishi/Fujitsu, etc.

I did mini splits in my new build. HVAC quotes were $30k+. Even if I have to replace them every 5 years I would still come out ahead.
I did separate units for each room so if 1 goes out, I'll still have AC in the rest of the house until I can replace that unit.

If you're a salaried employee, it's highly unlikely anywhere in your employment contract you are required to work 40 hours a week.

How are they lying to their employers? It's not their business. Last I checked, my salaried position doesn't require that I work 40 hours a week for them.

I know someone working 2 IT positions currently. They made over 500k last year and are a top performer at both jobs with 20+ years of experience. I have no problem with it. Companies will lay you off in a heartbeat. Gotta protect yourself and your family.
