Why did the thread get whacked? My 2 cents:

Our local HS, Lake Travis, is a 6A top 20 program in Texas with multiple D1 commits. There isn't 1 kid on the team from Freshman to Varsity that did not play select baseball. The head coach of the team even has partnered with a local select organization that charges $4k per season per player as sort of a funnel into the high school program. It's a huge business. We're talking multiple millions of dollars in revenue a year for this single organization.

The baker made a mistake in admitting that's why. They literally could've came up with any other excuse for denying service and it would've been fine.

A wall in Big Bend would be a huge travesty. Both sides of the aisle are opposing this.

Kirkwood is awesome and usually not as busy as the other Tahoe resorts.

Filed mine yesterday on FreeTaxUSA. Only owed ~$500. Effective tax rate came out to ~21.4%. Not bad for $500k+ AGI.

LT game was wild. They were down 13-0 early, outscored Johnson 27-6 in the 2nd quarter and not another point was scored by either team in the 2nd half. TCU commit Carter Buck had 4 sacks. Now at 22 for the season.

North Shore will be a very tough test for them.

I'll be at the Lake Travis game tonight. They are loaded on defense with 4 D1 commits. This will be their toughest test of the season though.
