We must believe all women, right?

But all claims from women must be believed!

You seem to be really passionate about this. Are you a high school teacher in LA?

I’m not, and I’m more mocking the “we must believe all women regardless of facts” movement than i am “passionate” about anything

This was one of the reasons I talked the wife out of becoming a teacher. You might be able to disprove a student if one of them tries to frame you. Odds are absolutely stacked against you if two students decide to collude against you.

Is it a possibly some women my lie about this? Of course, humans are pretty shitty in general.
But lets be honest history, evidence, and multiple closed criminal cases shows this is the exception not the norm.
This is like rallying to ban seatbelts because there are cases of people getting trapped by them. You are playing the wrong odds my guy. Or my gal don't want to assume genders even though from this post I'm pretty sure you are a male.

Nothing will happen to them.

Since these activities did not take place at school, is a district kind of stuck? This would seem to be a situation where the girls would get expelled.

Well, they are being charged with a felony. That's not "nothing". Will they do time? No. And at that age they probably shouldn't. But I think they will suffer some consequences and learn a very valuable life lesson, hopefully.

So, your stance is believe all women then?
The whole point of all the pushback on that line of thinking is because it ignores innocent until proven guilty and requires an unconditional trust of flawed human beings, which is dumb as hell.

Absolutely. Kids are mentally the cruelest creatures on earth and modern parents seem to do little to nothing to curb their behavior. My dad whooped my arse up and down town if I stepped out of line. Definitely a parenting problem at the root of student issues.

Yep, I saw it was a felony as charged, but that will likely be expunged when they become of age, if it isn't plea-bargained.

Yep. When I was in high school, a girl I had sex with the year prior lied and told people I raped her. To say it turned my world upside down is an understatement. Later, I found out the guy she was going out with had apparently found out, she didn’t want him thinking she was a slut, and her way out was to tell him I forced her. I genuinely don’t think she meant me ill, or even considered the ramifications of her lie. The stigma hung over me for quite a while, ruined friendships and put up barriers to new relationships. Hell, I’m sure there are people I went to high school with who still believe that shite.
Once you’ve gone through an experience like that, it’s hard not to see things from a different perspective. It’s noble to think all women would be honest about something so serious, but people are damaged. That’s simply an unfortunate reality.

No, this was wrong from the start.

Never said that and from nowhere I have seen, has this every been a stance, quote, or mantra of any organization.
I've seen "Believe women" as in allegations should be investigated but Believe ALL women. That is just made up.
