Guess the bengals had to make a move somewhere but Anarumo feels like a guy whose gonna move right down the road and have a top 10 defense somewhere else with better talent on that side

Also fired our OL coach, DL coach and LB coach.

I guess that's a start but it's not want the fans are asking for

Dude was such a hot name a few years back getting so much praise during their deep playoff runs. Things change so fricking quickly in this league.

It wasn't just Lou.
Bengals cleaning house, but they need to go a step further and fire the GM and Zach Taylor. This move means they won't do those things.

I think if Lou just had a bigger headset on the sidelines he would be fine.

No coach is as good or bad as he is given credit for, a lot of it is circumstantial luck.

Yeah the personnel losses seem to be the issue. He was seriously praised for his Ds until this year.
His D got them to the Super Bowl that one year

Dennis Allen is as bad of head coach as everyone says he is.

Not just the NFL, tRant was legit scared of losing Matt House late in the '22 season...

Clearly you have headset envy.

This is usually the warning shot for a head coach. If he loses with a new guy, they can't blame anyone but the HC.

Listened to a Bengals podcast from this Athletic guy, they think Al Golden is the most likely. Jim Leonhard also mentioned.

Yeah, I watched all their games this year and I'm not sure the DC/scheme was the problem as much as personnel.

The Bengals let the coaches have a lot of say in draft picks. Someone in the room decided once they hit on Higgins, Burrow, Chase, the reason for thst was because they went to a big school who played in the CFP. So they have only been drafting Michigan, Clemson etc players early since then and just about all have been absolute shite. Also letting the OL coach they just fired pick all his own mid round OL picks that have all been busts.

The Bengals could have fired Zach Taylor and hired OC Joe Brady from the Bills and reunite Chase, Burrow, and Brady from the 2019 LSU team days. Missed opportunity imo.
