Just seems everyone is all in for a 2025 NC after the recent portal signings. No need to bet the farm on it just yet. At least wait til after the season opener.

We are already basically in the playoffs next year. There is no way we are on the outside looking in with the talent we have on our roster and the coaching staff we have in place. The only question is if we don’t win it all next year (which we may), how many years does CBK have to bring home a natty?

There seems to be 2 camps lately. One wants Kelly fired and the other thinks we compete for the natty in 25. Neither camp for me.
Kelly's record here is good. Too many casual fans think we should win the championship or at least the SEC every other year. History says otherwise.
The portal season has been good to us, but I don't see a championship level roster. Let the portal play out and then we should look at each position group. We still have holes, especially at safety, but are hopeful that we add some key guys once the playoffs are over. Some patience is warranted to set expectations for next year. Lots of moving parts to consider.

Happy with the portal on top of the recruiting class. However I’m not gonna let the class blind me from reality. Until Big Game Brian consistently starts winning the big important games that he is routinely losing, there is no trust, only hope. So maybe the thread should be “In BK we Hope!”

Serious question: is LSU paying people to come on here and start a positive PR campaign for BK after this disaster of a season? I get the positivity with a really, really good portal class, but I don’t know why anyone would be singing his praises right now considering how shite we looked on the field this season. Talent has been an issue, but BK also seems completely lost in certain games and we just roll over 3-4 times a year and a portal class isn’t changing that.
At this point there’s not really any reason to believe that he’s going to lead us to the promised land and I hope I’m wrong. Just based on people I’ve talked to in real life vs. TD, it seems like there’s a very oddly high number of people who are sunshine pumping here and it doesn’t seem organic.

It could happen, but the portal can be very fickle.
Check out Rivals top 10 portal classes last year and look for teams who qualified for the playoffs:
1) Colorado
2) Mississippi
3) Louisville
4) Texas A & M
5) ASU
6) UCF
7) Michigan State
8) Memphis
9) Washington
10) Cal

I am one of your downvotes. I like our portal additions, but you are using p&g glasses. We aren't done in the portal and still have holes. We don't know how the new guys will adjust and fit. I doubt many have really compared our roster to the other top schools. We aren't the only team that will look different next year.
Thinking we are a lock for the playoffs is way too early.

Yeah, those have gone really well. Brian Kelly lost to the great Lincoln Riley in his most recent and now predictable dismal season opener. No chance BK can beat Dabo in the next one.
