The team next year will be deep and talented. Anything less than a championship is a bust for me.

Dude stop with this BS. Yes expectations should be high, but saying "anything less than a championship is a bust" is stupid.

We better hope we get a good OC because if we don’t make the Playoff, BK will 100% blame it on Sloan.

This team has the potential to win it all. Gave the players and coaches outside OC.

The defense still hasn’t shown that it can stop a mobile QB.

Unproven defensive ends and safeties.

Unproven offensive line.

Unproven tight ends.

Let's start with small steps like a WIN vs Clemson...then 2-0..3-0...etc....toss up games like Bama, Ole MS, TX Am, UF have to be 3-1 and no shite the bed games or chokes vs team.you should beat..then we can talk Playoffs...

No excuses for that to be the case Next year. Perkins will be back and you have 4.3 speed and 10.3 100 meter speed 4 star linebacker Charles Ross coming in who you can deploy to spy on mobile qbs no qb in the country is outrunning that kid sideline to sideline

Has there been a coaching change? Get ready to be disappointed.

I’d love to see what metric you have that shows LSU as the best team next season that makes you say championship or bust.

Thankfully, no other team in college football has talent or is trying to win the NC. Yeah, LSU should win the title in a cakewalk!

LSU is a premier team.
LSU can recruit with the best.
LSU plays 3-4 cupcakes a season
LSU should not win less than 10 games a season.

Agree. We’ve gotten some solid players out of the portal and the roster is improved. However, It’s nowhere close to talented enough to call “Championship or bust”. This isn’t the 2019 or the 2011 roster.

Anything but making final 4 is a bust if the committee takes the same weak stance selections they took this year

Perkins played in the 2023 Alabama game and couldn't stop Milroe. BTW, there is more than just being able to catch a QB or anyone else running with the football...you have to be able to tackle that player. Perkins has had trouble in the past with his tackling. Ross is a TR FR who last I saw weighed less than 200 pounds. The key to stopping mobile QBs is not individual players but to cut off the running lanes so the speedy QBs can't get a running start into the secondary. Neither House nor Baker seemed to have figured that out in their years as DCs.

Diego Pavia & Jackson Arnold didn't do shite in the last two games yet both abused Bama on the ground.

Both defensive ends signed out of the portal have experience & the Tigers are still working the portal for a safety. Also, Javien Toviano is moving to safety permanently.

We've picked up 2 of the higher rated lineman in the portal that comes with experience. Depending upon how it plays out on the practice field, there maybe only 1 starter along the line playing without previous game experience. Two at the max barring injuries.

Green got a lot reps as a freshman & Bauer Sharp comes from Oklahoma with a lot of experience.
