Why are Chineese restaurant owners so angry?

Every single time I pick up lunch at my local China Dragon, the older lady that runs the joint is always yelling at the staff. I don't think she even takes a breath when she starts talking to the staff.

My family stopped at a Chinese place and actually sat down and ate there and the ladies were some of the sweetest restaurant workers I’ve experienced in quite some time

The lady that runs the one I go to is cool. So is her husband. They're good folks.
ETA: Now, the Vietnamese joint I like the most is run by an old dude who could be a villain on NCIS or something. They make a hell of a banh mi, though.

Ms Shirley at Royal China by us was the sweetest lady ever. Always gave my kids suckers when we dined there and when I would go pick up food she would remember that I had kids and would put several suckers in the bag.

Chinese people that work in restaurants yell at each other. Don’t think I’ve ever been in one where they didn’t. I don’t think they’re mad, I think it’s how they communicate above the noise. Especially in the kitchen.

I get takeout every Monday night and mauw mauw is always yelling at the TV over Monday night football. She told me one time the 49ers were throwing away her $300 dollars.

We just had a breakfast restaurant here open by us called the flying biscuit, the owners are Asian and treat the staff like shite, the first week they had to close for a day because the staff walked out because they were being such assholes
