10 year old got him a doe Christmas Eve morning. 85 yard shot, hit a little far back but she hit the ground chest first so I knew we would find her after she crawled into the brush.

The 350 legend round must've hit the last rib and took a sharp turn, came out of the opposite side hind quarter when she was broadside.

He was pumped after giving one a flesh wound last year

Would've been better if he hadn't hit the bladder and a little guts

Everyone’s been there done that. The cool thing is it’s his kill and he’ll be hooked for a while! Congrats dad!

Exhibit A and B why they should have a minimum age for hunting deer in the state. Boy needs a few more years at the gun range. I’ve actually personally expressed my concerns about this issue in the past to Madison. Real ethical problems with these two shots and I believe that Madison shares my concerns about these issues.

I bet they don’t care as much as you think they do.

No, if they read this they would be elated a 10 year old got his first deer.

But now that you bring it up, I think it is only fair that you show us how proficient you are at shooting.

I guarantee thru years of practice (which this young fella don’t have) I would hit the lungs at 85 yards…. with iron sites.

Taxman's prime virtue seems to be shooting off his mouth when it would best be kept shut.

More regulation is never the answer. The boy does however need a little more trigger time to prevent gut shooting the animals.
